Double Bass Neck Block Repair

This custom blonde upright cushioned its owner's fall down some icy stairs- how thoughtful! The big task was removing this instrument's fingerboard, then gluing the crack. I dropped a large screw in the neck block to reinforce the glue joint, then reassembled. The owner plays for the local symphony orchestra, and I'm excited to see it in action at their performances!
